CNWL – Horton Haven
NCS worked alongside KIER (Southern) to supply and install a structured wiring scheme within the Horton Haven project.
Kier refurbished two old buildings that dated back to the early forties and they constructed a new link building between the two old buildings
NCS were instructed by CNWL mental health trust to install a wiring scheme that would enable the building project to connect to the existing network that is in place within the Horton haven buildings.
NCS supplied an om3 grade 8 core fibre and an external 100 pair telephone cable between the new link building and the existing communications area within the Horton haven site.
Within the link building NCS established a communications area where a freestanding data cabinet could be installed to house all of the future IT hardware.
Within the old buildings and the new link building comms area NCS installed om3 grade fibre and internal grade telephone multicore cable to link all three buildings together.
CAT5E lsoh cabling was also installed within each of the buildings to support the voice and data requirements within the building.
This project was completed early April 2009.
